Deferring rent payments to later, much later, months later, putting working tenants with fluctuating income in arrears intentionally.
Calculating rent amounts on GROSS INCOME which is scamming , deceiving the tenant who is poor. As advertised by Toronto Community Housing Corp (T.C.H.C.) a tenant pays 30% of income . Which income ? Gross income , which translates into paying 38% of Net income .
The intentions of Toronto Community Housing Corp are destructive towards the tenant.
Toronto Community Housing Corp seems to be a REVOLVING DOOR.
T.C.H.C. is losing money for not charging the correct amount of rent.
Crushing the poor with FLUCTUATING INCOME on a three month basis And then on a yearly basis establishing g a rent for the whole year not respecting the FLUCTUATING INCOME and reviewing the rent one year later for the past year using the Notice of Assessment of that previous year possibly putting the tenant in ARREARS INTENTIONALLY by having the power to do so.
* Using a Re-payment plan FOR THE POOR raising the % of rent amounts to pay suffocating the poor worker.
* It's supposed to be 30% ( of Gross, but it should be of Net) AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
*Extended quarterly periods which are supposed to be three months long)) but are not, again NOT RESPECTING FLUCTUATION OF INCOME.
The rental office changed the rent amounts owed: they were less than the rent amounts sent to me through the mail.
Was it to catch me later by making me pay less now?
I DO NOT TRUST THIS rental office nor the tent calculations.
WE NEED TRANSPARENCY IN the rents amount owed and in the calculations so there be no discrepancy.
And by crushing the poor who want to work, T.C.H.C. is creating poverty. And there's a link between POVERTY and VIOLENCE.
Toronto Community Housing Corp (T.C.H.C. using DEFERRED RENT PAYMENT SYSTEM to CRUSH poor working tenants with FLUCTUATING INCOME, making those tenants PAY RENT LATER , MONTHS LATER, NOT RESPECTING FLUCTUATING INCOME, putting those tenants in ARREARS INTENTIONALLY , and harassing them afterwards with REMINDER LETTERS and EVICTION NOTICES creating ANXIETY, STRESS, and FEAR which can KILL
This is how they treat the poor, and those who want to GET OFF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE and OUT OF POVERTY, which contradicts MPP LISA MacLEOD’s intentions, introducing her REFORMS OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE and making them public , telling everybody that her reforms will help THE POOR get OFF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE and OUT OF POVERTY.
