It was reported several months ago that the INDIGENOUS people of SIX RIVER of GRAND RIVER in Southern Ontario requested that their households be connected with a clean water pipelines to the main water filtration plant. Only ten percent (10%) of the households at SIX RIVER are connected to the water filtration plant. That plant was built at a cost of 40 million dollars.
This situation is A SHAME .
ENDEAVOR;
All INDIGENOUS Communities across this country should be connected through the INTERNET so that ALL CAN COMMUNICATE with each other at ALL TIMES.
And that include video calling.
The needs of the INDIGENOUS People ought to be met.
INDIGENOUS Communities should have schools, teachers, offices, recreation facilities, health facilities( e.g. dental, hospital) , even an AIRPORT as small or as big as it needs to be.
And ALL INDIGENOUS Communities should have the basics of living which include running water to their households, electricity, heating, etc.
There should be plenty of activities to kept young minds and not so old ones, busy and active.
In all, THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE should be asked what they need , and what they desire for THEIR PEOPLE so that their needs can be met.
There is a seventeen percent suicide rate among the INDIGENOUS people. This is inexcusable.
Our elected officials need to be PRO-ACTIVE in this situation, and meet the Chiefs of the INDIGENOUS PEOPLE so that all is well with their People.
