*** Rents keep increasing; have the salaries increased also?

There lies the culprit. Rents keep increasing ; but has the salaries been increased also? No. Rents need to be decreased and then capped for a while of increasing.

I will be asking for a meeting of the apartment building owners and will ask them if it is possible to reduce the rents of their tenants by 25% monthly .

Somme have already paid their mortgages. Those can reduce the rents.

For those whose mortgages have not been fully paid , I will ask them if they can extend them.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

THIS IS OUR CITY.

WE MUST PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY IN IT , FOR THE PEOPLE.

There is less and less NET DISPOSABLE INCOME to pay rent for shelter and for all the basic needs necessary to live: transportation, food, utilities( cellphone,hydro, internet).

This situation increases the number of residents on the waiting list for affordable housing .
