Rents are high in the city of Toronto, and so are the prices of houses. Could we get the apartment building owners together and ask them to accept a reduction in rent of 25% per month for their tenants in their apartment buildings ? And they could extend their mortgage for a few more years.
GREED will push an apartment building owner to pay down the mortgage in record time so that all coming revenues would be NET REVENUES. But this is to the DETRIMENT OF THE PEOPLE whose salary has NOT BEEN ADJUSTED to the rate of Inflation.
The PURCHASING POWER OF THE PEOPLE HAS DIMINISHED which means with the same amount of money they can only purchase less items, because the people have less money to buy products and services .
Can the apartment building owners accept a reduction of 25% per month in rent for their tenants living in their apartment buildings , and extent their mortgage for a little while longer?
Is it possible for apartment building owners to extend their mortgages a little longer so that their rents are affordable to a greater percentage of the city's population?
For those whose mortgages have been paid they could afford to rent at a lower price. We are ALL IN TOGETHER
Tenants could take this opportunity , if building owners accept this proposal, to pay their CREDIT CARD DEBTS which is in the TRILLION of Dollars in Canada, making it a little easier to make ends meet, and enjoy Life a little better?
Let us not be GREEDY.
GREED harms everybody to whom it seeks from.
Can we have a meeting of landlords and apartment building owners and agree to lower the rent for tenants by 25% for an extended period of time?
We could use the WAITING LIST of people for AFFORDABLE HOUSING to know and see in which apartment buildings the residents are asking for affordable housing and work with this list .
