The GREED of Real Estate (apartment building ) owners : the consequences

I just got back from an event , Lakeshore Collegiate, whose audience was teenagers. I am running for city councillor for Etobicoke- Lakeshore,Ward 3. A young woman reiterated a question about TTC and the cost of ridership, that it should be free. "Nothing is free",I said,"there are salaries, maintenance..."


And students are already discounted in the price of their ridership. I also said:"Real Estate is eating up NET INCOME,":the price of renting and the price of buying a house. I continued: "If people had more money in their pockets this issue wouldn't come up"


REAL ESTATE IS EATING UP THE NET INCOME OF RESIDENTS IN THE CITY OF TORONTO. Apartment building owners must make an effort to lower their rents. if their mortgage is not fully paid then they can extend it. THIS IS WHAT MAKES THE CITY OF TORONTO EXPENSIVE TO LIVE IN;it must change


Price of renting, especially, and the price of owning a house MUST COME DOWN. Apartment building owners must make an effort to lower the price of renting a unit. If mortgages are paid then they can lower their rents. The price of houses MUST BE RESET.


Recently I saw in the news an apartment in downtown Toronto is going for $3,000. per month. It is so expensive that a single individual , man or woman, needs a roommate. If future residents must go outwards of the city for rent/housing, then this creates another problem: TRANSIT


Out of control' pricing of rent from Real estate owners has created a WAITING LIST of THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE for AFFORDABLE HOUSING,and is CREATING POOR PEOPLE among residents who are now PAYING FULL MARKET RENT in city of Toronto


And there are THOUSANDS of people on a WAITING LIST FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING in the city of Toronto, affordable housing that has not been built for at least the last four(4)years as per say Ontario Premier D. Ford. Residents are getting poorer as the price of renting is unrelenting


GREED. This is what GREED does. GREED IS A SIN. It harms everybody its touches. Apartment building owners are in a hurry to pay down their mortgage in five (5) years. REAL ESTATE IS EATING UP THE NET INCOME OF RESIDENTS IN THE CITY OF TORONTO.


If elected I will want a meeting with apartment building owners from across the city of Toronto ON and ask them if it is possible to lower their rents by 25% monthly. And the rents thereof will be capped(a ceiling) at no more than the yearly inflation rate


Are the real estate Investors family oriented ?

Why isn't there any control in the amount of rent a apartment building owner can ask?

The cost of living, when it is high, limits the amount of expenses that can be disbursed.


Is the Federal government family oriented?

Is the Federal government trying to stop husbands and wives of having children?

Remember the Word of God : " .... Be fruitful, and multiply, ... ", Genesis 1:28


It's time to put money in the pocket of residents.

Who has the purse in Toronto? Real Estate ? high rents and high, unreachable, prices of houses ?
