Yesterday and today, December 3rd and 4th 2018, I have asked the Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation to raise the amounts for its lower prizes.
The GM Oshawa will be closing next year in 2019, and the oil business is not going well in Alberta.
In Alberta the suicide rate jumped by 30% because of the financial situation in Alberta.
Many are feared to be losing their houses soon.
I have asked OLG to raise the lower prizes for both the national lotteries and at home in Ontario.
As you may know ,
the clientele of lotteries are poor and or in financial difficulty.
Christmas is also around the corner,
and many Canadians are in debts( it is close to a Trillion dollars in Canada).
For these reasons I have asked that the Ontario Lottery and Gaming corporation raised its lower prizes.
Let us not be greedy; who needs to have a sixty (60) million dollar jackpot when many people are struggling financially.
I think that a jackpot that big can be shared , without being greedy, with many others who need a financial boost.
